hanabi from the other day
i went to see hanabi ( fireworks) with koji the other day.
it was just sooooo beautiful, its the only thing i experienced "seasonal" this summer i guess...?
anyway there were soooo many people along the tamagawa river, and also there were some airplains flying near the fireworks..! that really made me worried about the passengers... but koji said maybe those people are so lucky to see the fireworks from that high....
after that we decided to walk along the river to go to koji's house, because now he lives at mukougaoka-yuen, which is pretty close to tamagawa river. we even asked the guard man working there about the direction and walked walked walked.. for 2 hours and finally saw some trains crossing a bridge. but as we got closer.. the trains color was silver, which is not the odakyu line's color..... then... we realized we walked the opposite way for that loooong!
then we just got tired and decided to take trains to go his home.... but it was fun! at noborito, which is close to yuen, we tried to print out the map of where we walked along that night, because at some seven-eleven in japan right now you can download the detail map for 50 cents if you put the address... its such a cool system, but because the service was just available in tokyo area, noborito is kawasaki, kanagawa pref. so we couldnt do it but still it was cool.
when i was watching the fireworks, i remembered my friend minako's birthday we had aloong the same river 3 years ago. wait it might be 4 years ago...? yeah 3 years ago and 2 years ago were in los angeles! time flies so fast, i cant catch up!
