oh my god! right now im talking to tamaki's boyfriend dan, then he told me she already came back to america and transfered to cusn!! aw! its so amazing that they are still together, i remember they once visited me when i was in west LA, like 3 years ago, oh, its been three years since i hung out with them!? wow. i miss my friends in LA so much!! too much these days!! i also miss all those vomitting school homework and taco bell and jamba juice and kamilla's farmer boys avocado cheese burger and krispy kreme and korea town and taiwanese huge shaved ice at sawtelle and mrs mobasheri and coffee beans and helen and hollywood highland and swingers and china express and subway and oops, most of them are related to food, but anyway i miss the city of angeles so much-!
i was at keio shinjuku station this morning, waiting for the train leaving to sasazuka. i work in sasazuka right now, actually my contract ended today so im not going there anymore. anyway i was inside of the empty train which is going to the opposite way from the central tokyo. so many people were getting off from the train just arrived at the next platform. it was already 9am, but tonz of people were like drifting out of the small box. because the stairs at this station is so narrow, people even go through the train next to it, so they can actually go to the other side of the train at the next platform, so lots of people were passing through my train. then when everybody left i noticed this tonz of liquid were streaming under the seat over the door. that evoke me the gas panic in the subway caused by religious group long time ago in tokyo. i couldnt move because i was too scared then suddenly the station stuff came up and started to wipe it. anyway nothing happened, but i was so scared if some crazy people did something crazy in the early morning!!! woo japan is not safe anymore.
then at ampm in sasazuka, just like every day, i bought a box of chocolate and coffee. the shop worker at there is so funny, he talks too much to himself!! its pretty common in japan that cashers repeat the price when they are checking the barcode, well i dont know how to explain this, for example, "one 147 yen, one 200 yen, 2 198 yen.. blahblahblah" they always say how much the thingie is at the moment when they hold the item over the red light at the casher. BUT this guy at ampm in sasazuka, he also culculates everything, like keep summing up the total price at the same time, out loud, in the early morning!! so the store is so quiet, most people are really sleepy, but only this guy is crazily hiper, but i love him, he makes me laugh all the time!! when somebody buy so many stuff, it gets funnier! this guy reminds me the drag queen worker at burger king in santa monica 3rd street mall. he (or she?) was really funny too.
also there is circle K closer to my office, and the lady working there in the morning shift is also really funny. usually workers at that kind of stores are always kinda grumpy, but this lady is really polite and stuff, but every time i bring a cup of coffee i bought at other coffee shop, she tries to scan it too at the casher!! im always like "(laughing) you did the same thing few days before too!!" and she is always "moushiwake gozaimasen shitsureishimashita..!!" begging many times to me, but im just joking but she is always pretty serious, but she repeats that again next day. yeah yeah whatever! its funny to me!
-------------- i just wanted to write these because im not going back to sasazuka anymore and did nt wanna forget about these!!
tomorrow im meeting my long time pen pal from korea!! he is my korean american friend alison's korean cousin. im really excited!! also my crazy friend bubu is coming, it will be so fun!!
