getting a sawing machine!

my super cool ex-roommate hana came to my apartment to give me her sawing machine today. oh my god, she lives far away from here, the other side of tokyo, but she drove all the way down towards here!! i was actually thinking about buying a new sawing machine for a long time, got tons of fabric, but couldnt really buy one..! amazingly my sister said hello to hana, she is really shy and never comes out from her room usually..... ( the only friends who saw her are hana and dansen and takako.)

then we went to this cafe near my house that just opened 2 weeks ago, got some drink and food. she said she is moving out from her parents place soon and moving in around kichijoji!! wow much closer to my place!!! cooool!
we also talked about what we used to eat in LA, and eventually she told me i used to make baked salmon freakin all the time!! RIGHT..! i totally forgot, it was out of my brain already, but yes, i was totally crazy about salmon at that time and everytime i found salmon on sale at ralphs, i was always baking salmon with bunch of onion and mayonnaise....
also she told me about my driving school's teacher john, he was so crazy, he taught me how to drive, he told me i had to grip the hundle really tight, like there were just 20 cm between my right hand and left hand... also when i cut the steering hundle, i had to count "one two three four five" with my hands turning the hundle... it was really really crazy!! i asked couple of my friends if its proper driving way, everybody said "NO!" ...... the driving lesson was so unbelievable. i paid 30 bucks /hour every time.

AFRA was on tv just before, singing( well, beating) with dreams come true... human beat boxing with pop music... it was kinda weird, but really cool!
after that i was watching spanish conversation program on tv too. its so hard. reminds me those gasping days when i just started to study english at junior high school... looking up the word in a dictionary all the time and stuff. but its fun!
