i was thinking about cleaning stuff today, in japan we always use a broom and a dustpan to clean the floor (also use cleaner), and dustpans are called "Chiritori" in japanese, and most of those chiritoris are also called as "BUNKA Chiritori".. its pretty odd to me, because BUNKA means CULTURE in japanese.... culture dustpan?? whats that? its just really comfusing....

its raining in tokyo today. this season right now is called TSUYU in japanese, and those chinese characters mean plum rain, and i dont know why.... whywhywhy are there so many things which dont make sence!?!? anyway, in tsuyu season, we have a lot of rain....!!! i havent experienced this rainy season since i went to america two years ago, so its really refreshing to me now even though at the same time its depressing too. yesterday when i was going up the stairs at roppongi subway station, it smelled like los angeles just for a moment. it was just a moment when i saw the rainny sky.... and soon later it was just like usual roppongi smell, and that reminded me some memories in LA.... like when i got off from the airplain at the first time i went to LA. it was like a mixture of hope and anxiety... i still also remember how it was in china, smell in my parents town, smell in my friends house, those are all different....

i just remembered i hate onigiri (rice ball) which is made by somebody elses mom. i can smell mom's smell when im eating onigiri, and i just dont like it!! so when i went to field trip or whatever, i used to exchange the food in my lunch box with my friends, but i never got any rice ball from them! because i just couldnt stand those smells!!
