now i am in miami

finally i am back from the remote island. it was such a great experience for me to just go there, see people, talk to them, eat local food, feel the caribbean air and stuff...
i tried scuba diving there for the first time in my life. it was reeeeeeally scary. it was so much fun to see those finding nemo fish, but it was just so odd to me to breath under water... even though i have a gas tank on my back, still it felt a lot different to breath with it.

me and my friend shipped to nevis, another island under the same gov't, for two days. we stayed at four seasons hotel, which was great, costed us $550 per night... so 2 days are gonna be $1100... my apartment rent in tokyo.

my friend is paying for almost all the money for this trip, like hotels, food, taxi and stuff. she wanted to have a company to go to that island on business, and i was the only person who was actually not busy, so that is why she asked me and i went with her. i didn't even know how to eat properly at expensive restaurants, but right now at least i know that. like i didn't know i don't have to pick it up when i drop my knife on the floor. when i dropped it, i stretched my arm trying to take it and my friend told me to ask the waiter to do that and to give me the another one.

when i told that i'm going to that tiny caribbean island, he told me, "people are getting kidnapped like that!! you shouldn't trust people that easy!"

anyway!
at any moment, when i tried to do something, like taking my baggage to my room, moving a beach chair to my spot, taking my towel from my room to the beach, trying to fix the internet connection, she told me to ask the hotel stuff.
like when i travel around, i usually don't stay at such a nice hotel, so i didn't know they would do that.

i realized people are usually nicer when you are paying a lot of money to them. like when i was a student in LA, if i didn't understand people at anywhere, even at school, a lot of people acted like "go back to your country." like no one really tries to under stand you when you don't know english. but this time, wherever i go, people are way too nice, its almost like japan, kinda scary.

in st. kitts, most of the people are having 2-3 jobs at the same time. i heard one police man's payment is $200 per week. you can't really feed anybody. it must be really hard to survive. also the prices are really expensive in that country. that makes peoples life worse. at marriott hotel a bottle of water costed us $2. in four seasons, it costed $4. which is less than a dollar at the pharmacy at the corner in here. i heard half of the taxi driver there are police man. no wonder why.

anyway i should go to sleep!
its really noisy outside because lots of people are still hanging out, its already 2pm!
